Tegucigalpa – La cantidad de hondureños deportados en el presente año reporta un incremento de 49 por ciento y la cifra roza el total del cierre registrado en el 2017, según nuevo informe del Observatorio Consular y Migratorio de Honduras (Conmigho).
En ese orden, Conmigho señala en su informe, publicado este martes, que desde el 1 de enero al 17 de agosto suman 46 mil 966 los hondureños deportados tanto por la vía aérea como terrestre.
Dicha cantidad de retornos significa un incremento del 49 % respecto a las 31 mil 593 deportaciones registradas en el mismo período de tiempo de 2017.
No obstante, la cifra oficial no solo revela un incremento del casi el 50 % de las deportaciones de hondureños, si no también que ya se roza el registro de cierre de 2017.
Cabe señalar que el año anterior cerró con un total de 48 mil 22 hondureños deportados, según datos estadísticos de la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores y Cooperación Internacional.
En el presente año las autoridades migratorias de Estados Unidos han deportado a 18 mil 309 hondureños entre los que se contabilizan 139 menores de edad, detalla el informe de Conmigho.
