Almagro, que esta semana recibió en la OEA al candidato opositor a Hernández, el izquierdista Salvador Nasralla, dijo en un comunicado que “no emitirá comentarios sobre los reconocimientos de resultados del TSE de Honduras formulados por algunos Estados”.
No obstante, el secretario general de la OEA dijo que “desconocer los informes de la Misión de Observación Electoral genera un antecedente peligroso de cara a un nutrido año electoral en 2018”.
Según el TSE, Hernández ganó los comicios celebrados el 26 de noviembre con el 42,95 % de los votos, superando a Nasralla, que alcanzó el 41,42 %.
