La jornada de vacunación contra la influenza H1N1 inició este lunes en los sectores vulnerables de la población de Tegucigalpa y San Pedro Sula. La población podrá asistir a los establecimientos de salud a vacunarse contra la influenza estacional o gripe.
El ministro de Salud, Octavio Sánchez, informó que hasta la fecha “han muerto 10 personas debido a la enfermedad”.
Los grupos priorizados a vacunar son: las embarazadas, los trabajadores de la salud del sector público y privado, granjas avícolas, personal técnico de Servicio Nacional de Sanidad e Inocuidad Agroalimentaria (SENASA).
Asimismo, vacuna la población de 6 meses a 59 años con enfermedades crónicas y adultos mayores de 60 años.

El presidente, Juan Orlando Hernández, llamó este lunes a la población a que visiten los centros asistenciales del Distrito Central y San Pedro Sula para que los vacunen contra la influenza H1N1.
“Por favor los que viven en Tegucigalpa y el departamento de Cortés, acudan al centro de salud o al hospital más cercano para que les puedan aplicar esta vacuna”, dijo el gobernante.
